Books and a Brew!

"Books & a Brew!" is Welland's lovely Social Space and Library, serving local people from Welland and surrounding villages including the Hanleys and Castlemorton. Located in Welland Village Hall, it is an official "link library" for Worcestershire Libraries and offers a lovely space to meet up with friends for a coffee and access important services without having to travel to Malvern or Upton.

On offer all year round is a "Help yourself" table of free hot & cold drinks & biscuits, informal cafe style seating, free high speed wifi, popular free "Magazine Swap" table, kids colouring activities, lego and board games, as well as access to most of Worcestershire library's services (you can even return books that you have borrowed from any of the other libraries in Worcestershire).

In addition, through the year, there is a programme of special events, including activities and competitions for children, and also valuable opportunities to access useful services right here within the village, such as those provided by Citizen's Advice, Age UK and West Mercia Police. Information about these will be available on the Parish Council website's News page and its Facebook site as well as on posters on the village hall and village notice board next to the shop.

All are welcome at Books & a Brew! - you don't have to be a member of Worcestershire Libraries to come along. Dogs on leads also welcome.

Open weekly on Mondays 2.30-4.30pm, Wednesdays 8.30-12.30pm, Thursdays 10am-12pm, & monthly 10am-12pm on 3rd Saturday of each month.
(Closed Bank Holidays & Christmas week.)
